Why I Do What I Do
I believe movement is about more than exercise—it’s about staying strong, independent, confident, and able to enjoy the life you love.
I’m passionate about helping seniors and people living with Parkinson’s improve strength, balance, mobility, and confidence. I also offer small-group strength classes for anyone looking to get stronger, move better, and build healthy habits in a supportive environment.
Whether you’re managing Parkinson’s, returning after physical therapy, or simply ready to feel stronger, my goal is to meet you where you are and help you keep moving forward..
Stories that Make Us Smile
I am a senior who is overweight, out of shape and scheduled for a total knee replacement. Physically I lack core strength, balance and overall conditioning. I was looking for a trainer and found Abby’s card.
Abby developed an exercise plan which addressed my physical needs. She always respected my input and made adjustments accordingly.
As a result of my time working with Abby my activities of daily living are now more easily accomplished and with confidence. I feel positive in this recovery and will continue to walk with ease.
Thank you Abby,
MCW
“I've been strength training with Abby since September, 2025. I started training once a week, then after my first month, amped it up to twice a week. I just turned 25, and prior to this, had not done strength training. I have wrist issues and was nervous to be lifting anything or putting much weight on them at all.
After 6 months of consistent effort, I feel so much more capable and confident in everything I do. My body feels like it cooperates better: from taking groceries in from my car (third story apartment!) to tossing trash in the dumpster. I'm able to do more with my hands/wrists, which has opened up capabilities in hobbies I had set aside. I've even gone down a pants size!
Abby is delightful and I trust her wholeheartedly. If I'm doubting myself or questioning a movement, she will always help me make a better choice by correcting my form, suggesting an appropriate weight to start with, describing where I should feel the exercise, or offering a modification. I'm so grateful for her!
Because of Abby, I know that even if I'm having a bad day, or an off day, this is exactly where I need to be. I love everyone in this group... I think I'd get an ab workout just from the laughs we share.”

“Last year I received a concerning report about my bone density. At 68, I know how important bone health is, and I wasn’t ready to start medication. I began training with Abby in 2025 to get on a better path and learn how to lift weights safely to support my osteoporosis.
Abby has been incredible from day one. She tailor every session to my specific needs and always makes sure I’m moving in a way that supports-not stresses-my body. I’ve had knee and hip issues along the way, and she consistently gives me exercises that keep me pain-free while still giving me a challenging, effective workout.
She is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and truly a great listener. I feel so much stronger and more confident since starting with her.
I highly recommend training with Abby. She’s exceptional.”
